Volunteer

There are many opportunities for volunteering at the CMI where individuals can gain experience conducting research, performing educational outreach, and strengthening their marine science background. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please fill out the CMIL Volunteer Application and send it to cmi.info@sdsu.edu. If you are interested in working in a specific lab, please visit the Researchers pages to learn more about the type of research conducted at the CMIL, and contact researchers directly for more information.

Students enrolled at SDSU may be eligible to receive 299 or 499 credit for their research activities.

Peak season for research is during summer months, however, because science is not limited to season, students and faculty require your help year round. Don’t hesitate to get involved, submit an application today!
