Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a degree in the marine sciences can take classes and emphasize in marine science while obtaining their B.S. degree.

M.S. programs in the Biology department include Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Physiology, Microbiology, and Cell and Molecular Biology.

The Biology department offers Ph.D. degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology, Ecology, and Evolutionary Biology through their Joint Doctoral Programs.

The CMI provides educational and outreach programs to communicate science to the public through the Marine Ecology and Biology Student Association (MEBSA).
